„Bărbatul, fără de femeia sa, se asemuiește unui copac căruia i s-a retezat din trunchi, pe când femeia, fără de bărbatul său, e precum trunchiul retezat din copac;un copac, poate supraviețui fără de trunchi, pe când trunchiul, se usucă și piere; uneori, un copac, se usucă, din urma retezării trunchiului, precum și din trunchiul cel retezat, o mlădiță supraviețuiește atașată altui copac; alteori, copacul, înainte de a se usca, dacă are vigoare, dă viață puieților dimprejuru-i, pornind din rădăcină, – pe când mlădița desprinsă din trunchi, dacă are posibilitatea regenerării, prinde rădăcinuțe care deși firave, în solul cel bun, se dezvoltă, readucând cu trecerea timpului, bunăstarea…”

“A man without his woman is like a tree whose trunk has been cut off, while a woman without her man resembles a trunk cut off from a tree; a tree most times can survive without a trunk, while the trunk dries up and perish; sometimes, a tree dries up, as a result of cutting the important trunk, or not having enough vigor to support the wound given by the cut, as well as from the cut trunk, a sapling survives attached to another tree; other times, the tree, before it dries up, if it has vigor, gives life to the saplings around it, starting from the root, – while the sapling detached from the trunk, if it has the possibility of regeneration, takes root which, although frail, in the good soil, develops, bringing back over time, the well-being, nurturing another tree…”
